Puffy Paint

Today we made our own puffy paint.  Even LB got to paint today, which he enjoyed very much!

To make it you just mix equal parts of flour, salt, and water and then add your food coloring. It is best to paint on cardboard as the paint is heavy and would go through regular paper quite quickly.  I cut up an amazon box, but I am planning to save cereal boxes for next time.

The girls had no plan for their pictures but had a good time!

When you are finished, you are supposed to microwave them for 10-30 seconds to make them puff more, but we are without a microwave so we just let them dry.

They still puffed pretty well!
