Merry Christmas!

Blessed

I am so blessed.  I have wonderful friends and family, 3 beautiful children, and a very loving husband.  Above all, I have the Lord, the One who sent His Son to die for my sins even though He committed none.  This morning was rough.  We only did reading in school, didn't make it to math because Pnut was not trying her best and I was not being patient.  The girls were again bouncing off the walls, and LB messed with the radio every chance he got.  But today I was able to take a step back and realize how very wonderfully blessed I am.  We are reading through the Lies Women Believe book by Nancy Leigh DeMoss for Wednesday night Bible study, and it has just been wonderful for convicting me and helping me to grow.  I highly recommend it!  So what are you blessings, what do you have to be thankful for?

The girls were bouncing off the walls today!  It rained or I would have taken them for a walk!  We got school done and got a lot of cleaning up taken care of, but they were just jumping and throwing balls and running and in general trying to drive me crazy!  Joel stayed late at work to move turkeys out of the freezer so he wasn't even here to distract them!  LB was his normal little naughty self and played with the radio frequently and stood on top of the toy box in the living room.  He has been cracking us up by dancing all the time to music.  Babies are so cute!

I am thankful that the girls have lots of energy and don't want to just sit around all the time, but I need to figure out some way to channel it that doesn't involve us going anywhere since it is getting colder!

Look Who Is One!

How has this happened?  This first year has just slipped away!  It has been a delightful year!  Enjoy these pictures of our baby, his growth, and his two celebrations!

She didn't do all of them, but she did do the cups and silverware, and the silverware is my least favorite part!  I don't know why I hate it so much except that maybe it doesn't seem like you make much progress at a time.  Anyways, she did a great job!  She didn't leave any food on anything, which is more than I can say for myself often!  I think we will work up to doing all of them!  I don't mind sharing, anything is helpful:)

We had a really nice day.  I am praying every day specifically for patience and we've been praying together before starting school for good attitudes and doing our best.  We took a walk and got treats and just enjoyed our day at home after a few really busy days!
