More Cherry Crest Fun!-Picture Heavy

We went back to Cherry Crest Farm today, but this time we went with some friends and we had a ball!  (Not that we didn't before, but it was fun to go again with some friends who hadn't been before.)  I thought I would share some pictures again to show some things that we didn't get to do the first time.

 While you wait to get in, the kids can play on a wooden train, which they enjoy quite a bit!

One of the first things to do is visit the animals.  There are goats, sheep, ducks, bunnies, pigs, and more!  Today there was a baby goat who was born last Thursday!  So sweet:)

There is a pretend cow that you can milk.  It is harder than you might think!

The girls love this wagon ride.  The wagons are all hooked together and pulled by a tractor.  Last time, they rode it twice!

This is the rubber duck race.  The children each have to pump the water from an old pump handle to make their duck float to the end. 

This is the right-hand turn maze.  You are supposed to only turn right to get to the end.  Or, in our case, you enter the maze and just run around like a crazy person:)

Here are the babies hanging out while they wait for their siblings to finish with the giant slides.  How cute are they?!

And here we are back at the jump pillows.  This is definitely a favorite activity!

This area is full of hay (obviously).  It is walled in by hay bales.  The girls really like to race around the top.  Thankfully, they haven't fallen off yet!

Some of our friends had to leave for naps, but the rest of us went through the short maze this time.  I don't think that you can go the wrong way.  If you choose the wrong path, you just hit a dead end and back-track.  The girls really liked this and felt like they got to do a maze without having to go through the long one!

On our way out, we stopped at the covered wagon.  The girls really like this since Mary and Laura rode in one when they went to Indian Country.  It made us very thankful for modern conveniences!

The girls and I are planning to go back next week with my mom.  We are making full use of our Boomerang Pass!
